Our Home

Chad and I have been married since June 2007.
We purchased our house in April 2007 and moved to Quathiaski Cove, BC June 2008

Our House

Go big or go home right...... We own a 6 bedroom 3 bedroom house that is sits on 10 acres of land.
It is what we call a fixer upper livable, with lots of renovations and updating to be done.

The Main Floor

This is the stove that will keep us warm this Winter!!

A look into the A-Frame

Bedroom #1 that will be renovated when we get rid of the A-Frame (in 5 years )

The mud room (not sure what were are going to use it for)

Bathroom #1 (we call it the creepy bathroom its  not being used)

Bedroom #2 (we are using until we renovate on the main floor and create our master suite)

Bedroom #3

Bedroom #4

Bathroom #2

The Upstairs

Dinning room (open concept to living room and kitchen)

Living room

Kitchen

Laundry Area

Bathroom #3 (the one we use the most, but it still needs work)

Bedroom #5 (upstairs in the A-Frame)

Bedroom #6 (upstairs in the A-Frame)

So that is our house. We would like to start renovations to the main floor bedrooms 2,3, and 4 in September. The plan is to redo bedroom 2 and make it a bit smaller and then use bedroom
3 and 4 to create our master bedroom with an on suite bathroom using bathroom #2. Next summer we will work on the upstairs redoing the floors (putting in hardwood floors in the kitchen and
dinning room area and new carpet in the living room) and the kitchen. As much as the A-Frame gives character to the house it is not practical. In 5 years we plan on getting rid of the A-Frame and
making it into a normal addition were we hope to move the master bedroom upstairs and possible other bedrooms. The bottom part of the A-Frame will become our entertainment space, but who know in five year we could come up with another plan for it. So stay tuned and check back often for new pictures and updates. (8/18/08)
