Biography:

Gina Rae is a Miami native through and through, born in Coconut Grove, the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from Palmetto Senior High and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Miami, including overseas study in Cortona, Italy.

Upon graduation she found a professional outlet for her creativity in the world of graphic design, winning numerous local awards for her designs and the accolades of her employers along the way. Although devoting much time to raising her two children, she still manages time for her favorite hobbies; the outdoors, her animals, and photography. 

Artist Statement:

As artist of many mediums I approach my photographs as though I'm painting a picture with my eye. Images are photographed just as they exist, natural and un-posed, using only natural light to achieve the truest of colors. No manipulation or enhancement is utilized during the traditional 35mm developing processing and each print is then mounted and matted using acid-free museum board.
