MY TEACHER EDUCATION PORTFOLIO
STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY - FALL 2007
This is a web-based portfolio of the work required for my teacher education degree. The course explores methods of teaching literature and composition through the use of performance and technology. It focuses specific attention on effective ways to use film, video, audio, computers, and the internet, as well as acting and directing activities in the secondary English classroom.
Since teaching literature through the use of film is a major component to this class, I think my meeting with Steven Spielberg's wax figure at Madame Tussaud's is an appropriate introduction to my portfolio... as Shakespeare puts it: "The little foolery that wise men have makes a great show" |
