I'm Smokey, Gil's cat. I'm Smokey - a male (neutered) chocolate-point Siamese-mix, adopted in June, 1991 as a kitten. I was adopted from one of Gil's neighbors right after his apartment building was hit by lightning and caught on fire (that's how I got my name, so I'm told). I spend most of my time getting into mischief (like opening the kitchen cabinets), snoozing around the house, or greeting guests when they come by. My favorite toy is a candy wrapper. I will meow until I get the candy wrapper if you don't give it to me immediately! I can also sing a song for you! Be sure to visit the Siamese Internet Cat Club home page! I'm now a member! I lost my good friend and fellow conspirator Peppy on July 6, 2005 because of complications from cancer. May she spend her days chasing light beams and catching mice (and bugs). Here are some other pet-related sites that we recommend that you visit when you have some time:
Note that a fine organization North Shore Animal League America (NSAL) used to be listed here, but is no longer listed because their site has a flash item on their front page. See Gil's home page for details about our policy on this.
