Breast cancer is the #1 cancer for Canadian women with approximately 445 Canadian women being diagnosed every week. Furthermore, approximatley 100 Canadian women will die as a result of breast cancer every week. Due to research, increased awareness and early detection there is an 87% increased likelihood that those diagnosed will survive a minimum of 5 years after their diagnoses.
