Parents and Students: Get FREE help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by attending College Goal Sunday on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Bring your income tax information if you have it ready. Experts will help you complete the online FAFSA application. This workshop will take place in Hoffman Hall.
To start working on your FAFSA, go to www.studentaid.ed.gov.
Get your PIN numbers. Students and at least one parent will need a personal PIN number to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Get your PIN numbers now at www.pin.ed.gov. Remember the student and a parent need separate PIN numbers.

North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Scholarship Application is due April 15.
All students planning to attend NCMC should complete this simple application. You can get scholarship money in addition to A+ funding. This application is on the scholarship page of the Counselor Corner website.
ATTENTION JUNIORS!
The University of Missouri School of Medicine will again host an exciting and informative summer experience for high school students interested in a career in medicine. MU’s Mini Medical School is a one-week program that gives students a preview of life as an MU medical student. The program includes:
· Hands-on experience in anatomy, microbiology, and clinical skills
· Introduction to MU’s innovative problem-based learning curriculum
· Seminars on college and medical school entrance and medical school life
The Mini Medical School is intended for students who will begin their high school senior year in the fall of 2012. Selection criteria includes:
· Grades and test scores
· Student response to essay question
· Involvement in extracurricular activities
· High school science teacher recommendation
