The Death Notice

Death Notice 8-17-06 - Zark-Owiee

I suck.

Thanks to the Honesty of our GP2K6 Leader, it was pointed out that I missed a Monster Hit (in both senses of the word that occurred over 2 Months Ago.  That means there is another Player on the Board, who now splits 3rd Place:  Ravi has hit a Monster (as did an air-strike) - as you all probably know, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is no more.  That means he's due for 20% of the Pool!

My humblest apologies go out to him - but I'm glad he got a Hit!

Death Notice 6-30-6 - A-a-r-o-n

Greetings Players,

As we enter our last Full Month of the contest, Sad news greets us.  The Saddest News of all, in fact: an Obvious Pick passed us by.  That's why we Kick Ourselves.

Creator and/ or Producer of 'Nightingales', 'Hotel', 'The Colbys', and 'The Rookies' (and the lesser known 'Dynasty', 'The Love Boat', 'Beverly Hills 90210', 'Twin Peaks', 'Melrose Place', 'Charlie's Angels', and 'Charmed'), Aaron Spelling, has succomed to not living, as of this past Friday (June 23rd).  He was on my list of my next add-ons, but I intentionally held off in order to add him for GP2K7.  I'm Spelling D-O-H!

'Little Doggie Moose, Fetch me a Dream':  In other sad news, Moose, the Jack Russell also known as Eddie from 'Frasier', passed away yesterday from Old age, at 112 years old (16 in People Years).

July is the final month, and the leaders are clear . . . for now.  Much as I expected a Cold Wave to thin out the Celebtiries this Winter, I'm eagerly awaiting the yearly Waves of Heat and Forest Fires, along with our new favorite calamity - Hurricanes - to help put some points up before Season 1 of our Ghoul Pool Passes On.
