Rental Agreement for Camper Trailer

 

 

1.      Rental Payment: A down payment of $200.00 is required to secure a reservation. All fees must be paid 14 days prior to reservation date.

2.      Security Deposit: A $100.00 security deposit is required in addition to the Rental Payment. This deposit will be returned when trailer is returned in the same condition as when it left, and with all inventory items accounted for. Security deposits will be returned within seven days after the return of the trailer.

3.      Cancellation Policy: A full refund of any payments made will be given for cancellations prior to 14 days before reservation date. If the rental is canceled within 14 days of reservation date, a $25.00 service fee will be assessed and the balance will be refunded. No shows will forfeit any monies paid.

4.      Payment Methods: We accept cash, cashiers check, payment through our website or by PayPal®. Personal checks are accepted, but must be received 14 days prior to reservation date.

5.      Damage: Renter is responsible for all damage incurred while the trailer is in his/her possession, including damage caused by acts of God. If damage occurs please contact us immediately (Please check with your insurance provider for coverage.). If damage occurs while renter is towing the trailer, renter must obtain a police report (See Trailer Towing for other requirements).

6.      Trailer Towing: If the renter will be towing the trailer, insurance contact information will also be due 14 days prior to reservation date to allow for confirmation of coverage. At time of pick-up, renter must present a current drivers license.

Tow vehicle must be of appropriate size for towing the trailer and have a two inch receiver, electric trailer brake system and lighting wired through a six position plug. We will provide the hitch, weight distribution system and sway bar. All lighting and brakes must be functioning prior to release of unit. We reserve the right to not release the trailer if the tow unit is determined by us to be unsafe in any way for the towing of the trailer. Parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.

7.      Smoking and Pets: In consideration of our clients who have allergies, smoking and pets are not allowed in the trailer. If trailer is returned with smoke odor or evidence of pets, renter will forfeit security deposit as well as be responsible for any additional charges associated with the cleaning of the trailer.
