Down Syndrome Awareness club started in early 2008.  Our main goals are to spread awareness of the disorder Down syndrome so people can understand and accept Down syndrome individuals in society.  We mainly contribute t o the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County, but we openly help many other organizations also.  One of their biggest volunteer event is the Buddy Walk, made in the Angels Stadium of Anaheim.  Our club hopes to one day diminish the definition of "normal" and help form friendships with teens despite of all the differences they may have.

  • Beach Day! Come to our beach day and make new friends! High school students will be spending a fun day out at the beach with teens with down syndrome. If you have any friends, please invite them!Please come prepared to go in the water (swimsuit, sunblock, etc)We will bring snacks and goodies! Yum :-)Some F.A.Q's:Q: Is this free?A: Of course.
