ルシファーが堕天使となりサタンになったという説以外に、サタンは神の子 サタナエルであり、もう一人の神の子がキリストだという説もあります。

サタナエルは地上の支配権を７日間だけ認められていた間に、人間に悪魔信仰を広げたそうです。

世界の終末に最終戦争が起きて、もしサタナエル側が勝つと地上は悪魔により完全に支配されてしまいます。主イエスキリスト側が勝利すれば、サタナエルはサタンとして再び追放され、たとえ悔い改めたとしてもサタンが救われることはないといわれています。

創世 3:1
さて、神である主が造られたあらゆる野の獣のうちで、蛇が一番狡猾であった。蛇は女に言った。「あなたがたは、園のどんな木からも食べてはならない、と神は、ほんとうに言われたのですか。」

創世 3:2
女は蛇に言った。「私たちは、園にある木の実を食べてよいのです。

創世 3:3
しかし、園の中央にある木の実について、神は、『あなたがたは、それを食べてはならない。それに触れてもいけない。あなたがたが死ぬといけないからだ。』と仰せになりました。」

創世 3:4
そこで、蛇は女に言った。「あなたがたは決して死にません。

創世 3:5
あなたがたがそれを食べるその時、あなたがたの目が開け、あなたがたが神のようになり、善悪を知るようになることを神は知っているのです。」

創世 3:6
そこで女が見ると、その木は、まことに食べるのに良く、目に慕わしく、賢くするというその木はいかにも好ましかった。それで女はその実を取って食べ、いっしょにいた夫にも与えたので、夫も食べた。

創世 3:7
このようにして、ふたりの目は開かれ、それで彼らは自分たちが裸であることを知った。そこで、彼らは、いちじくの葉をつづり合わせて、自分たちの腰のおおいを作った。

創世 3:8

The huge dragon was hurled down. That ancient serpent, called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, was hurled down to the earth, along with its angels.

創世記の蛇は the serpent 黙示録の古い蛇は the ancient serpent です。

10 He said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”
