Once again the electric rate payers take it on the chin. The DPU release its findings and said that UNITIL was to rebate the gas customers 4.6 million.

How ironic that the 4.6 million gas rebate was the same amount that the AG recommended for the electric rate payers.  This was supposed to be about why we had no power. The way DPU did their press release has only confused the issue even more.

The DPU ruling basically gives UNITIL a free pass, they only have to rebate the gas customers in stages and there is no fine at all for the electric customers. The only way corporations will change is if they are held accountable. You need to contact the politicians below and ask why there are a lot of tough words with nothing to back them up.
