GHHH! 2011 Santapalooza

GHHH! Santarchy 2011 begins at Owl Farm immediately after your last game.  Wear your Santa gear.  Schedule below is for Saturday Santarchy.  Sunday's events will also start at Owl Farm after games and follow an abbreviated route.

Santa attire

Santa suits and hats are available for sale at the fields.  Santa suits are only $7 and include hat and beard.  Hats alone are $1.  We also have other Santa attire.  Buy it, make it, or bring your own, but you need some Santa gear to participate in Santarchy or you will be laughed at by the other Santas.

GHHH! 2010 Christmas party

GHHH! Saturday Santarchy will start at:

Grumpy's Pub
Party/Santarchy begins immediately after games on Saturday.
Limited food available at Grumpy's.  There are many restaurants within walking distance on Main Street.  You'll also have a chance to get food after the Santarchy mob leaves Grumpy's. 

Grumpy's is a half mile from the Lawrence School Fields and less than two miles from Morse Pond and Trotting Park fields.  It's on the GHHH! field map.

1.5 mi & about 4 minutes from Morse Pond
1.9 mi & about 5 minutes from Trotting Park
 

Santa attire

Santa suits and hats are available for sale at the fields.  Santa suits are only $8 and include hat and beard.  Hats alone are $1 for basic, $2 for plush.  Buy it, make it, or bring your own, but you need some Santa gear to participate in Santarchy or you will be laughed at by the other Santas.

Saturday schedule 2008

GHHH! SANTARCHY 2010 begins at Grumpy's pub immediately after your last Saturday game (see flyer).  Wear your Santa gear.

4:00-5:30 Revelry, scheming, imbibing, caroling, and mischief-making will ensue as Santas and Santa's helpers gather at the bar. (Pool & darts too.)

At 5:30, we will leave Grumpy's Pub and go a-wassailing to Liam's Pub where glee and social hilarity will ensue. (Harmonicas, kazoos & other hand held instruments encouraged.)

6:45 - 7:00, join the parade of animals along Main Street from the Falmouth Library Park to the tree lighting/caroling on the Village Green, or just stay at Liam's.

At 7:30, the now slightly sozzled Santas will proceed to Peking Palace for more fun, and noise-making or gather on the Falmouth Library Park for random games with discs.

At 8:30 we'll all migrate back to Grumpy's for live music and mischief-making, rounding up straggling Santas along the way. There are rumors of mistletoe.
 

Sunday events 2010

The 46th Annual Falmouth Christmas Parade kicks off at 12:00 noon from the Falmouth Mall and continues down Main Street to the Village Green. The parade is the largest holiday parade in southeastern Massachusetts, and will feature clowns, marching bands, horses, and a huge variety of colorfully, decorated floats. Some floats stop at the Lawrence School fields.  
 
The Falmouth Christmas Parade heads down Main Street, so don't drive there Sunday between 11:00 am and 2:00-3:00 pm.  You can drive and park on Katherine Lee Bates Road which parallels Main Street.  

Coffee-Obsession, Cape Cod Bagel, Liam McGuire's Irish Pub, and other Main Street establishments are all within easy walking distance of the Lawrence School fields.  See the web site for maps.  Ask at tourney HQ for directions.
