I am researching the ancestry of the Gerry & White families who settled in Mesa County, Colorado.

Henry Albert Gerry and Mary Jane Beaman migrated from Ohio.  Henry descended from Albert Francis Gerry and John Gerry of New Hampshire, and Joseph of Massachusetts.  Mary Jane was the daughter of William Casbell Beaman and Rebecca Anne Throckmorton of Iowa.  Henry and Mary are buried in Fruita, Colorado.

John Payton White who migrated from Texas and owned a successful cattle ranch on Douglas Creek in Rio Blanco County.  John married Ala Ellen Goss and was the son of William White of North Carolina who was married to Sophronia Horton of Tennessee and then Mary Shankle in Tennessee.  William and Mary are buried in Montague County, Texas. Sophronia is buried in Carroll County, Tennessee.

I am further interested in the Menard and Goss families. Joseph Mainard and Mary Melissa Blades migrated from Iowa.  Joseph is descended from Paul Menard whose ancestry migrated from Quebec, Canada. William Goss and Amanda Virginia Graybeal migrated from North Carolina following the Civil War.  Joseph, Mary, William, and Amanda are all buried in Fruita, Colorado.
