BIOGRAPHY: Georges M. Arnaout received his Ph.D in Engineering Management (concentration on Simulation) from the Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Old Dominion University. He received his Bachelor in Management Information Systems from Balamand University, Lebanon in 2006. He received his M.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Information Systems from Old Dominion University, VA in 2008. Georges's research interests are topics related to Modeling and Simulation.  His research includes Agent-based modeling of Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control impact on freeway traffic flow.  He also is interested in using modeling and simulation for decision making in complex environments. He is fond of topics relating to modeling and simulation including operations research, discrete-event, systems dynamics, and agent-based modeling. Georges Arnaout has various papers published and/or submitted in the area of modeling and simulation.

Georges was born in Lebanon in 1986 (Koura Lebanon) but also tis very proud of his Armenian heritage (mother's side). Also, Georges took pleasure in being the President of the F.O.R.E.I.G.N.E.R.S. for 2 years - an international organization that promotes International-American relations through purely social and entertaining means (voted the best student organization in Old Dominion University for year 2008-2009).

Hobbies: Mixed Martial Arts, Music (composing), TRX , Cross-fit, Snowboarding, and Reading (especially books like Freakonomics, The Starfish and the Spider, and Limits to Growth)

Georges took pleasure of playing Electric Guitar alongside the best DJs in the Hampton roads area (Dj Vitali, Dj KoKo, Dj Kristo, and Dj MC). Georges plays regularly in the following venues: Omega, Scotty Quixx, and Time Lounge.
