This website need to meet the requirements of students and youngsters for knowledge sharing and multidisciplinary co-operation for the protection of Nature along with the advancement of Science and Technology in all angles of the society. So all the members of this site need to contribute their part by adding important details regarding their topic and giving valuable suggestions.

Your topic of interest and sites you wish to collaborate should be clearly described in your application. Earth Science

The intention behind this novel attempt to create a website exclusively for Earth Sciece is the ambition that, we can have a common platform to navigate to various disciplines in Earth Science, rapidly and precisely. This website need to meet the  requirements of an Earth Science Student in this new Scientific epoch. So all the members of this site  need to contribute their part by adding important details regarding their topic and giving valuable suggestions.

Past:
Cochin University of Science and Technology was established on 1971. Earth science division of CUSAT named as "School of Marine Sciences" has a very rich history beyond the foundation of CUSAT. Previously it was the Marine Science Division of Kerala University. 
Institutions was started as an oceanographic laboratory of the erstwhile University of Travancore in 1938

Present:
Now there are five departments under the School of Marine Science. The School of Marine Sciences includes Atmospheric Sciences, Chemical Oceanography, Marine Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry, Marine Geology and Geophysics, and Physical Oceanography. This school has earned the special recognition of the UGC under the DRS, COSIST and SAP programmes.
