This short, Intel-produced video provides an excellent, high-level introduction to next-generation intelligent transportation systems (ITS) concepts and technologies. Additionally, the 9-minute video includes brief demonstrations of several connected vehicle capabilities derived from the EU’s CVIS (cooperative vehicle infrastructure systems) project.
In summarizing the video, Intel writes, “Next generation transportation infrastructure will result in cars and vehicles talking to each other. These connected vehicles will help battle congestion, pollution, and accidents.” |

In the court of public opinion, I doubt Adobe has much to worry about. They make products that are synonymous with image editing – after all nobody ever “MS Paints” Emma Watson’s head onto a nude body, they Photoshop it – and for the vast majority of users Flash or no Flash on a mobile device is immaterial. However, companies must fight and fight they must. Adobe’s latest salvo? A reminder to the world that they love openness and Apple through a new ad campaign and essays by Adobe founders Chuck Geschke and John Warnock. |

uyers Beware. This is the mantra one has to follow in Indian financial markets. From last many years agents and so-called "Financial Advisors" are using fancy words and tactics to lure investors and sell them inappropriate products like wrong Mutual funds, ULIPS, ULPP's and Endowment Policies.
In this article we will see what are the common tactics used by agents and how we should handle them and demand logical explanation.
Note that this is not an exhaustive list and there are many more misselling techniques which is not covered here. Let's see them one by one. |

The ultimate guide for installing and running Windows XP from a USB stick / HDD driveWhat is this about? To keep the introduction short, Microsoft denies that booting Windows off a USB drive works. See this page for example. It says: Q: Can a USB storage device be the primary (and only) means of storage? No. USB-based mass storage devices cannot be the primary hard disk storage solution on a regular system ...
Or this one from the microsoft newsgroups: Windows cannot boot from an USB drive. If your computer supports booting from such device, you can load a boot loader to the USB device which starts Windows XP from the HDD.
Anyway, the web is full of those. I was wondering about the same thing, as i did not want to put a Windows partition on my Linux.based work laptop, and thought it was a good idea to run Windows XP off a USB Hard drive that i just plug in when i need it, and boot from it. To put a long story short, this is exactly what i do now, thanks to the fantastic research of the people credited below. However, it took me significant time to figure out all the painful little problems, and i was not fully happy with the current official guide by Dietmar (no pun, he was the first to make ANYthing public). I wanted an easy guide that allows creating a modified version of the Windows XP CD, for painless and transparent installation to as many systems as you want. This page is the result of my work. Have fun! For the detailed guide... click here |

In the past we had received so many problems from the readers who have a problem in copying files on their USB portable devices like pen drives, memory card and iPod etc.According to the mails we had received about this problem, people have seen the following errors when their thumbs drives, memory card etc becomes write protected. - Cannot copy files and folders, drive is write protected
- Cannot format the drive, drive is write protected
- The disk is write protected
- Remove write protection or use another disk
- Media is write protected
Some times people say that suddenly their drive become write protected and they are not able to delete any files and folder on the drive and also not able to copy new files and folder to USBportable drive.
Fix: Write Protection on any portable USB Device can be applied by the physical lock provided on the card adjuster or some times provided on the pen drives, so make sure to make your drive not write protected by moving the lock in right direction. But even after moving the physical lock for write protection the problem can happen due to some virus action. This happens when some virus or script which applies the registry hack to make any drive write protect when connected to the computer, In that case follow the procedure below to remove write protection from your pen drive. 1. Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor. 2. Navigate to the following path: For more click on this link |
