I actually really enjoyed this assignment once I got started, however, I was having a problem with 'Quick time' so it was a bit frustrating. Every time I tried to save a sound file to my computer, it would tell me I needed to pay for an updated version, and so, instead of paying the large sum of money to get the newest version, I simply made the noises myself. While it may sound a little bit cheesier, I also think it would probably be good for students to make up their own noises instead of relying on sound bites over the internet. Just a thought! I really enjoyed it otherwise, and would absolutely use it in a lesson because reading it aloud and hearing yourself speak helps you grasp the context and tone of the book. Also, by putting things like music and sounds, it urges the students to envision how the actual scene would play out. I think that by doing this, they're more likely to learn what they've read.
