Milli will run through the basics of scanning photos, negatives and slides to keep archival quality copies and to make copies for use with your family trees and genealogy software. It will also cover the basics of photo editing using the freeware software Photo Filtre to clone out those damage spots and restore your photos to their original glory We will also look at Picasa and how to organise and find items in your collection of images and some of the many features of this free program. 1.00-3.00pm Useful Internet sites - some tips and tricks for researching on the best of the websites for family history Bookings essential please Workshops are $5.00 each or $8.00 for both.
