We follow a standard protocol which is tailored to each client's needs but includes the following minimum requirements.

1. Thorough assessment of mental state and diagnosis by a member of the team (Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist)

2. Psychotherapy .Each client's goals of therapy are specific and may vary.

The main aims remain:

Providing information about and exploring gender and sexuality issues
Understanding and making sense of the individual within the family , workplace and social system.
Exploring the various available options of management, their implications possible effects and risk
Developing an individual centred plan which includes various elements of psychotherapeutic input, family or systemic therapy, supportive psychotherapy, cross gender hormone therapy , Sex reassignment Surgery
Helping the individual to review the plan from time to time alongwith the team.
