Gems and Crystals

I am in the seventh grade at P.S/I.S.327 .I am going to tell you a lot  about gems and crystals . If you want to know all of my juicy and delicious facts and details about gems and crystals continue to read .

First I am going to tell you about crystals.  Did you know that each crystal has a three dilatational  pattern?  The word crystals comes from a Latin word. The word is krustallos. They mean the same thing. They just are spelled different. The different  types of physical properties come from the size it is.  Crystals are like little tiny grains.  You can say that crystals are like metals   They have the same state of matter.  The different kind of crystals come from the structure. The long range color is a glassy material. They  also call a crystal an amorphous solid.  Crystals are natural healing minerals, maths, geological processes and chemical elements. We can work with crystals in many ways; always following intuition threw experience and with out experience . Crystalstructures  can be studied from chemical or numeric aspects. They can also be studied  as their atomic strutures.

Now I am going to tell you about gems.  They are used for jewelry.  They are called precious.  They are very a  attractive piece of material.  They can be cut or polished. They can have  rocks  on side of it.  They can also  have organic material in side of it.  They are like ambers. They are also like  jets. They look like materials . They are not materials . They can be used as adornments. They are also called gemstones .Most gemstones are hard.  Some soft minerals are used in jewelry . They have luster  and other physical properties. This things that are in the minarails are very aestic value .  Rarity is another characteristic that lends value to a gemstone.

Gemstones: meanings & properties

Probably the first stone used for ornamental purposes was a smooth colored river rock. Or maybe a pretty river stone was spotted before a hunter successfully got his dinner. The hunter then carried that pretty river stone with him as his lucky hunting stone. Stones of all kinds have played a very important part of the history of humans. From little river stones to huge stones, such as at Stonehenge, stones of all sizes and types have been called "the bones of Mother Earth". Stones have been used as talismans and amulets since recorded history and likely before that.
