The ailment called stroke could be described as a cerebrovascular accident, caused by insufficient or lack of supply of blood to the brain thus denying the brain cells and tissues the their live sustaining oxygen which caused damage and death in severe cases to the cells, and this results to the loss of activity to all the parts of the body controlled by that part of the brain.
# There are different types of stroke: Cerebral haemorrhage is the kind of stroke that occurs when the blood vessel ruptures to cause bleeding inside the brain zone of a patient.
# Cerebral embolism is the kind of stroke that occurs when blood clot forms somewhere in the body of the patient and travels through the blood vessels and lodges in the brain, thereby depriving brain cells of receiving blood and oxygen.
# Heat Stroke is associated the a sudden increase in body temperature. It can be cause by excessive heat from the sun or even from some synthetic designer drugs like ecstasy or a combination of psychoactive drugs, insufficient consumption of water in a humid environment or even frantic dancing. Symptoms of head stroke include fatigue, dizziness, oliguria (lack of urination), dry skin, cramps, increase in temperature and dehydration which leads to death.
