KABBALAH KABBALAH - Often linked with Madonna, Judaism and mysticism, could be viewed as the predecessor and basis of all the religions we see today, although it is not based on any religious doctrine or tenet. Kabbalist hold the view that there are two realms in coexistence - the natural world and the spiritual world. They believe our purpose is to achieve fulfilment through earning our happiness and abundance by observe the Natural Laws of God, which are seen as the Universal laws, which whether you believe in them or not govern our daily lives e.g. gravity - you don't have to believe in gravity for it to affect you directly! Kabbalists believe through giving and sharing, we earn, therefore receive. It is a fact that the people that annoy or irk us the most, are people who reflect things we don't like about ourselves. Being non-judgemental and forgiving, looking at the big picture and seeing our deficiencies presented to us through others, helps us improve ourselves. There is the Light (being God - the Creator) and the Opponent (being Sa'tan - the master of choas and destruction. The wisdom of Kabbala(h) [spelt with or without the 'h'] is a ancient scientific tool for studying the spiritual world. To explore our world, we use natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, and biology. But natural sciences study only the physical world we perceive with our five senses. To fully understand the world we live in, we need a research tool that can explore the hidden realm, that which our senses cannot perceive. This tool is the wisdom of Kabbala(h). Many have linked Kabbal(a) with Judaism, but it actually preceeds the Jewish Religion . . . it preceeds all religion and could be regarded as the fundamentals or basis of religion! According to the wisdom of Kabbala(h), reality consists of two forces, or qualities: the desire to receive and the desire to bestow, to give. Since the desire to bestow wants to give, it creates a desire to receive, hence its more commonly used name “the Creator.” Therefore Kabbala(h), the whole of creation, including us, are manifestations of that desire to receive. Kabbala(h) seeks to define the nature of the universe and the human being, the nature and purpose of existence, and various other ontological questions. Kabbala(h) also presents methods to aid understanding of these concepts and to thereby attain spiritual realization. Using Kabbala(h), we can work with the fundamental forces of reality-reception and bestowal-to our benefit. Kabbala(h) doesn’t only teach us the design of creation, but how we can become designers, as omnipotent and as omniscient as the original Designer of reality.
