Microfluidic Instrumentation

The ability to "play" with nanoliters of fluids could be useful for a diverse array of applications, but...

  1. Is microfluidics actually relevant for people in Indonesia?
  2. Why do microfluidic systems behave very differently than their macro-scale counterpart?
  3. How do we see and quantitatively analyze these microscopic phenomena?
  4. Can we develop efficient microfluidics using existing resources in Indonesia?

These questions were explored in my presentation [pdf,2.1MB].
