Our Livestock Guardian dogs come from working stock.  They have their jobs here on our farm as well.  They have puppies that have gone on to guard their own herds and flocks.  We have references if you would like to hear from others that have these pups guarding their goats.

Tess is from a neighboring goat ranch.  Her sire is a Great Pyrenees and her mother was an Akbash.  Tess has an all white coat and it is a shorter hair like her mom.  She has the respect of the whole farm, including Slim.

Slim is as his name describes, Slim.  Slim is 1/4 Anatolian Shepard and 3/4 Akbash.  He is a lot taller and leaner than Tess.  Slim has a new herd and is training one of his daughters.

Blue is the newest member of our LGD team.  Blue is a male pup from the litter born 7-31-09.  He is one of the long haired puppies.

Mr. Teegs

We have a member of the team that travels in the pasture with the herd.  He is the first to greet a new animal and the first to try to comfort a distraught goat.  His name is Mr. Teegs.

If you look closely, you can see that Mr. Teegs is sitting on top of the kid doe that is laying down in front of the door of the barn.

Newest barn and goat guardian, Paws, the poly-dactyl cat.

I look forward to the day when I can retire to the glider and relax.
