Our farm is located near Toronto Lake in the Cross Timbers Forest in the sandstone Chatuaqua Hills of Wilson County, KS. Wilson County is located in the SE part of Kansas. We are 100 to 120 miles from Wichita, KS, Tulsa, OK, Kansas City, KS or Joplin, MO.
We raise Fullblood, Purebred and Commercial Boer goats adorned in traditional, reds, paints and dappled spotted or Polka Dot colored coats.
Our past herdsire was CONI T459. He is out of CONI Warrior "Ennobled"
from Coni Ross' Ranch in Blanco, TX.
The newest additions to our herd have been our spotted or polka dot Boers. Bon Joli Dorado came to the farm in December '08 and got right to work. In the summer of 2010 we added a fullblood buck DBRC GDSF Mars.
Bloodlines include Logan Hill Mr. Makers Mark, KALR Stone Cold SA, Max Boer Goats to the Moon, and Logan Hill Phantom of the Farm. How we love those spots.
Our livestock guardian dogs protect all that live here. They are Akbash and Akbash crossed with Great Pyrenees. These are careful, watchful, independent
intelligent dogs. They have a short to medium white coat that develops a thick undercoating in the wintertime.
We have been raising Scottish Terriers 15 years. We have pure black, wheaten and brindles. These Scotties have been carefully bred to avoid the diseases that are common to terriers.
Pasture ornaments include one Morgan mare and one Morgan gelding. These are a great all purpose/sport horse.
