Lady Hawks Basketball vs. Hillcrest Christian (10/18)
Grace Hawks set off to play Hillcrest at their gym on
Tuesday and they were ready for completion and a change to use the plays they
have practiced. It was a pleasure to play Hillcrest as the teams gathered
around the center circle of the gym to commit the game to the Lord. We had a
lot of fun watching some of our younger players score jump shots and layups.
Our team is growing in unity through trials and victories. Praise the Lord!

Lady Hawks Basketball vs. Village Christian (10/13)
On one of the hottest days of the year, Grace Hawks traveled
to Village Christian to compete in the game of basketball. The hawks
perseverance was tested as the referee was called a lot of fouls and the gym
felt like an oven. I was so proud of the testimony of our girls as they kept
their composure and did not let the poor calls get to them. They played for the
Lord with all their hearts and I am overjoyed to coach such a great group of
young women. The final score was Hawks 33- Village 13.

Lady Hawks Basketball vs. Grace Brethren (10/7)
This was our first official game
and some of us underestimated our opponent. Grace Brethren did a great job
working on their shots and offense. Our team learned a valuable lesson to never
let your guard down. Grace Brethren played aggressive and they were a great
competitor for our first game. We know some of our weaknesses and we are
looking forward to next week to practice some fundamentals in the gym. Final
score Hawks 43-Grace Brethren 9.

Lady Hawks Basketball vs. Village Christian (10/6)
Our first home game was met with
much excitement from the team. We reviewed our goals and prepared “heartily”
for a new competitor. We were excited to see all the supporting fans in the
stands. Again, all of our team was able to play and most of the girls scored.
Our girls are aggressive and hungry for the possession of the ball. We have
nothing to say but, to God be the Glory. The final score was Grace- 25 Village-
7.

Lady Hawks Basketball @ Grace Brethren (9/22)
The Hawks started out their
season with a scrimmage against Grace Brethren. Our team was anxious to play a
game and were very excited to compete with Grace. Our team is very different
from last season and we have learned to adjust some tactics to better use the
talent and abilities of our players this year. All of our girls had time on the
court during the game to play “heartily” for the Lord. I am always blessed to
see what fantastic young ladies the Lord brings to our sports teams. The final
score was 63- Hawks 3- Grace Brethren.
