Conference Registration

Readings and Panels

To make requests to read or to join an "open" panel (see 2009 Conference Program link) contact Gulfcoastwriters@gmail.com

For readings, we will need this information:
Name.
Status: Faculty or Editor (where), student (where), unaffiliated.
Genre of work you intend to read.
In general, we put together a variety of readers in each session and there are several sessions in any time slot.  Readings will take place Friday morning, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon.  It is impossible to accommodate very narrow requests, but do tell us if there is a time when you absolutely wouldn't be able to read.

If you wish to join a listed "open" panel, please contact us with your request. Let us know of any recommendations for participants in the "open" panels.

Book Sales

Authors will be able to bring books to sell, and we will have a book room set up.  More information on this will be posted closer to the conference date.  There is no set-up for shipping books ahead.
If you are the editor of a literary journal (or a small press) you'll be bringing to sell or display, please let us know so we can add your magazine (press's name) to our list.

Conference Fees & Payment Information

While it is not necessary to prepay in order to sign up to participate in the readings and panels, it is a huge help to us if you do.  Therefore we are offering a discount to those who register by March 15, 2009
