Our Mission

Our Children's Ministry exists for the purpose of enabling children to MEET Jesus and to KNOW Jesus.  We are beginning the process of making disciples at a very early age.  All of our programming strives to reach this common goal.  May we continue to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Awana

Our Awana Clubs meet each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. for children ages 3 (by September 1st) through grade 6.  During Awana your child will make new friends, play exciting games, compete in rewarding and challenging contests, receive awards as reinforcement for their good performance, and learn and memorize God's Word, the Bible.  Our individual clubs are listed below:

Cubbies...Pre School (3 yrs old by Sept. 1st)
Cubbies provides fundamental truths about God, the Bible and Salvation.  The "seed" verses help them understand the Christian faith.

Sparks...K to 2nd Grade
Sparks provides a rousing game time that attracts children to AWANA.  The time dedicated to memorizing God's Word and life skill basics adds another dimension of Christian living to our children's lives.  There are three required handbooks.  Sparks achievements are divided into 4 areas:  Flight 3:16, Rank Path, Red Jewels, and Green Jewels.  A time for devotions called Council Time leads the Sparks in learning praise and worship while giving opportunity for them to ask Jesus to be their Savior.

Truth & Training...Grades 3-6
Our older clubs, the T&T are designed for children in grades 3-6.  Clubbers will work their way through a series of four handbooks during a four-year time frame.  Game Time and Council Time coupled with special events through the year make an enjoyable program for all children.
