1)      When we are humble,we become open to superior person  then we can receive mercy

2)      When we are humble, we are careful not to commit offenses. We understand we are not great.

3)      When are humble then we are open to learn. Ex. Sarvabhaum bhattacarya when became humble he could learn.

4)      When we are humble, we can act as servant, when we act as servant, service generates mercy in the heart of superiors, they feel indebted, and this is how we

receive krpa siddhi by becoming humble.

5)      When one is humble, one can accept his faults & work on rectifying them. One is open to look at his faults.

6)      Humility can protect one from enjoying side benefits of devotional service like honor, respect, recognition, facilities attachment to these spoils our chance to get

7)      Humble devotee also conquers the hearts of all people. Ex. Six goswami ( dhira dhir jan jano priyakaro). Ex.2 jayananda prabhu – taking out garbage , man was surprised.

8)      Humble devotee can become instrument of lord, let krsna guide. Ex.1 kanchipurna would talk to varadraj became an instrument. Ex.2 prabhu. - Car accident in Marshes. Thought may be it is signs from krsna. For that we must be humble. To see krsna’s hand moving through me.

9)      When one is humble, then one does not considers his own ideas to be very important, then person become detach, so many leaders thinking themselves imp became attach to pride makes one fall down.

10)  When one is humble, then can give opportunities to others & encourage them.

11)  In humility one can go beyond varnasram one thinks my nature is not so important I can do any thing, everything for the pleasure of devotee’s. Humility is the key to go beyond varnasram.

12)   Humility brings about honesty, one look at himself as he is.

13)   Humility makes one dependent on lord.

14)  When one is humble, then one can give up tendency to control, can give up pride aging process takes away everything, makes humble isn’t it.

15)  With humility, in this state of mind one can chant the holy name of the lord constantly.
