Hare Krsna,
Some of you might wonder, why I am creating a new website, Since there are many websites, even Krsna Conscious sites. I am taking inspiration from seven purpose of ISKCON which were set up by Srila Prabhupada in the beginning of the Hare Krishna Movement.
Seven Purposes of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) :
1. To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all peoples in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world. 2. To propagate a consciousness of Krsna, as it is revealed in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. 3. To bring the members of the Society together with each other and nearer to Krsna, the prime entity, and thus to develop the idea within the members and humanity at large that each soul is part and parcel of the quality of Godhead (Krsna). 4. To teach and encourage the sankirtana movement, congregational chanting of the holy name of God as revealed in the teachings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. 5. To erect for the members and for society at large a holy place of transcendental pastimes dedicated to the Personality of Krsna. 6. To bring the members closer together for the purpose of teaching a simpler and more natural way of life. 7. With a view towards achieving the aforementioned purposes, to publish and distribute periodicals, magazines, books and other writings.
Above mention
purposes of ISKCON, more or less deal with teaching and preaching the message
of the Movement to the society at large systematically. Thus I attempt to contribute a little through my personal
Website. I have created this site to connect with spiritual seekers who are
interested in learning as well as my friends and devotees. I am sharing some of
my thoughts and inspirations here. They say, one who shares, he cares. I have been studying scriptures for sometime and have gained some insight and realization in spiritual subject matters. I don't know, how deep
they are? but I am willing to share whatever little I know and hope that it will be
received with kindness.

College has provided the foundation for my life, for many years to come. Thus, to me it stands true to its slogan “Preparation for a lifetime… The best thing about the Bhaktivedanta College is its location, Radhadesh. Without the care and affection of the Radhadesh Community members, I would have not completed my studies. I was able to share, what I had learned in the college with devotees and visitors in Radhadesh, on numerous occasions. During my studies, I have been engaged in various extra-curriculum activities like travelling, preaching programs etc. Therefore, I consider my decision to come to Belgium, for the college and to live in the magnificent Radhadesh Community was perfect for me. I have volunteered for the preaching project in Luxembourg (country). I had privileged to initiate preaching in Luxembourg with the help of other devotees in the community. We have by now conducting programs there since one and half year. I see my attempts to preach in Luxembourg as great opportunity to contribute in Srila Prabhupada’s movement. Furthermore, I also intent to continue my university studies at the higher levels. I have a simple message for students who aim to come to this college. If I have to summarize all that, I have learned in the college in one word that would be “evaluation”. I have learned to evaluate my understanding of philosophy, my dedication to mood and mission of Srila Prabhupada, my faith and surrender to Krishna and so forth. I observed that for many people, their beliefs in God are self-authenticating. Thus, they do not seek lucid and thorough study of scriptures. In religious groups, common notion that you are not suppose to question or express doubts about faith; Why not? - because you are NOT! Bhaktivedanta College, however, provides students an exceptional opportunity to do comparative study of Krishna Conscious philosophy in broader context of world’s religions, and diverse cultural settings.
