Eliza Bergeson
, M.Ed. and Bonnie Hershey, M.Ed. co-founded the Kinesiology Connection in Lexington Mass in 1995. Business in Balance and The Heart of Listening pull together the best of experience and expertise from this successful, on-going collaboration. Eliza's current company, Brilliance Unlimited, offers professional and performance coaching for entrepreneurs. She is the author of The Yes! In Success: Expansion of the Human Spirit. Bonnie is Board Chair for Brain Gym® International and an International Faculty Member. As director of the Kinesiology Connection, Bonnie provides energetic and inspiring leadership and mentoring for New England’s growing Brain Gym community.





Kathy Brown is a licensed Brain Gym® instructor in Arizona, USA where she teaches three courses of the Edu-K curriculum. A career educator, she taught grades K-6 for 23 years, and brings her understanding of young children and the world of education to her presentations.







Moira Dempsey
 from Australia has been learning and teaching Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) since 2003, when she met Dr. Harold Blomberg, the developer of the RMT workshops. They co-founded Rhythmic Movement Training International based in Melbourne, Australia. Moira has been involved with Brain Gym® since 1991 and is currently a member of the Brain Gym® International Board of Directors. She has taught in Australia, USA, Europe, Asia, and Africa. 










Gail Dennison of California, USA is the cocreator, with her husband Paul, of Educational Kinesiology and the Brain Gym program, and coauthor of the Edu-K books and manuals. As the originator of the Visioncircles, Double Doodle Play, and Movement Dynamics courses, Gail is committed to a renewal and redefinition of the learning process for people of all ages and abilities.







Paul Dennison of California, USA was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1940. Paul did his doctoral research on reading and cognitive development at the University of Southern California. His clinical studies on the causes and treatment of learning difficulties resulted in the development of Educational Kinesiology and Brain Gym® programs with his wife Gail Dennison. These programs are now used in more than 80 countries worldwide and translated into more than 40 languages. He is the author of Brain Gym and Me: Reclaiming the Pleasure of Learning  and co-author of the newly revised and expanded Brain Gym Teacher's Edition.














































































 

Emily Eisen, M.Ed., is the Director/Instructor of Brainworks Plus, a multigenerational educational activity center on New York, USA. She brings her love of the outdoors, art, acting, singing, dancing, poetry, conscious/ creative languaging, improvisation, swimming, tai chi, yoga, Brain Gym®, Bal-A-Vis-X and laughter into her unique Seniors’ programs. She is a licensed Brain Gym® Instructor since 2002 and a Sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-X Instructor since January 2009.















Denise Figueiredo, OTR/L and Wendy Piret, B.S. are licensed instructors from the USA. Denise received the Teaching Through Movement Award in 2006-2007 as a Licensed Brain Gym Instructor/Consultant. She has practiced Occupational Therapy since 1990 in the public and private sectors with all ages. In 2008 she received an Exemplary Award from the Maryland OT Association. Both Denise and Wendy are CranioSacral therapy providers. Wendy was an active duty Naval officer from 1993 to 2001. Now she provides private services and trainings in Brain Gym, CranioSacral Therapy and Yoga. She recently completed a successful advertising campaign in Louisianna and Mississippi resulting in a series of Brain Gym 101 courses and multiple public school contracts. 


      
Carla Hannaford, Ph.D., biologist, author, educator with more than forty years teaching experience, including two years teaching high school, twenty plus years as a professor of biology, four years as a counselor for elementary and intermediate school children with learning difficulties and eighteen years as an international consultant to more than thirty countries, doing workshops and keynote presentations, most connected directly to the Brain Gym® work.

She was selected as a guest educator with the AHP-Soviet Project in 1988, has been recognized by Who’s Who in American Education, has received awards from the University of Hawaii and the American Association for the Advancements of Science for outstanding teaching in science, has in-serviced schools throughout the U.S. and in 2006 was a distinguished lecturer for the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

She has keynoted for many Conferences worldwide, and been quoted in well over 1,000 books and journals on the importance of movement, and music for life-long learning and health.

She is the author of; Smart Moves, Why Learning is Not All In Your Head,  revised (with forward by Candace Pert) in 2005,  The Dominance Factor, How Knowing Your Dominant Eye, Ear, Brain, Hand & Foot Can Improve Your Learning, published in 1997,  and Playing in the Unified Field, Raising and Becoming Conscious, Creative Human Beings, published in 2010 through Great River Books (info@greatriverbooks.com); and  Awakening The Child Heart, Handbook for Global Parenting, published in 2002 by Jamilla Nur Publishing.  She is also the author and co-producer of the Video/DVD Education In Motion and a presenter with Candace Pert and Susan Kovalik in the video: Emotions: Gateway to Learning.


Claire Hocking is an Australian Brain Gym Instructor and Executive Director of the Whole Brain Learning Centre. Claire has successfully used Brain Gym with seniors in social groups, day care and respite centers, retirement and nursing homes.  Claire has developed workshops on using Brain Gym with seniors and caregivers of seniors which she has presented at many national and international conferences on aging. 




Eve Kodiak is a Brain Gym Consultant at The Lydian Center for Innovative Medicine in Massachusetts, USA where she works with people of all ages.  Author/composer of Rappin’ on the Reflexes and Feelin’ Free, her newest CD/Book set,  Listenin’ Live is a collaboration with keynote speaker, Paul Madaule.











Kay McCarroll, DC, DHP. Kay introduced Edu-K in the UK in 1984 and became an International Faculty member in 1989. Having trained with Paul and Gail Dennison many times over the 26 years, Kay now teaches Total Core Repatterning, Movement Re-Education, and Optimal Brain Organization (OBO) Teacher's Training, as well as Brain Gym 101, OBO, Edu-K In Depth, and Practicum. She is also a trainer in Hyperton-X, the late Frank Mahoney's muscle release work. Kay travels extensively teaching and mentoring in several countries throughout Europe and Asia. As a McTimoney Chiropractor and a Kinesiology she brings many gems of experience and fun to her work. 


Lisa Marcovici and Michèle Hébert are from Canada and specialize in early childhood. Lisa's goal is to make Brain Gym accessible to everyone in a fun and practical way. She goes to schools in the Montreal area to lead staff inservices and visit classrooms. Michèle has been practicing daycare educational techniques for over twenty years now, as well as integrating educational programs for the 0-5 year old clientele. She is a pedagogical councilor for over six years  which led to her discovery of the Brain Gym program. 



Paula Oleska, M.A., of the USA became a Brain Gym instructor in 1986 and International Faculty Member in 1994.  She introduced Brain Gym to Poland in 1986.  Paula has presented at nearly all of the Conference Gatherings.  Her current passion is helping people develop their limbic systems for motivation and enjoyment of life.  She is the founder and president of Natural Intelligence Systems in New York City. 






Henry Remanlay, from Indonesia,
 has been learning and using Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) for special needs children since 2003. He has been a licensed to teach Brain Gym and Touch For Health since 2002. He, along with his wife, Dr Tan Shot Yen, established “Dr. TAN WELLBEING CLINICS & REMANLAY SPECIAL NEEDS’ HEALTH” in 2008, Henry gives many consultations in  special needs schools in Jakarta and in Adi Husada Hospital in Surabaya.















































































 

 

Joseph Schechtman is a Licensed Brain Gym Instructor for 20 years from Rhode Island, USA. Joe is a national consultant, trainer, clinician, and adjunct faculty member at Cambridge College. He has worked in over 30 school districts with superintendents, principals, teachers and districts’ most challenging students. Earlier in his career, he ran treatment facilities for aggressive and violent youth.




Shoshana Shamberg, MS, OTR/L, has over 30 years of experience in managing programs; working as a clinical therapist in pediatric school-based therapy, geriatric psych/physical disability rehab, nursing home, and homecare settings; and providing consulting services for elementary schools, educational institutions, businesses, community-service organizations, senior centers, and housing. She has degrees in occupational therapy and special education with a specialization in assistive technology and environmental modifications. She is a Licensed Brain Gym® Consultant and Certified Irlen Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome Screener/Diagnostician. She has presented over 150 international training seminars on universal design, accessibility of the environment, and other topics related to independent living and authored numerous articles and textbook chapters on these topics. 








































































































 

Sue Stepick, M.Ed., is an innovative educator who teaches and learns with students of all ages. She deeply enjoys moving fluidly to music and feels especially energized when she teaches Movement Dynamics, Visioncircles, Optimal Brain Organization, and Brain Gym 101. Sue has a professional background in Early Childhood Education; she has served as consultant, college faculty, advisor to Head Start teachers, and director of statewide programs in NH for young children and their families. Over the years, she has balanced her teaching experience with editorial work, graphic design, and gardening.






Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz is an attorney with a Ph.D. in Wholistic Health Sciences and is celebrating his 35th year as a professional speaker. He has earned the title Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speakers Association.  Jerry is author of Brain Gym for Business with Paul and Gail Dennison and Switched-On Selling: Balance Your Brain For Sales Success. He is the creator of the Switched-On Selling, Switched-On Network Marketing and Switched-On Management Seminars and Instructor trainings


Caren Truske, M.S. Ed., is a professional member of the Educational Kinesiology Foundation and Touch for Health Kinesiology Association.  She teaches Brain Gym 101, Optimal Brain Organization, and Visioncircles; she is also a Touch for Health instructor and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. In 1999 she co-founded Brain Gym Learning and Performance Center in DeLand, FL and completed certification in Eric Jensen’s Brain-Based Learning Specialist program.  Caren combines 10 years of NCAA Division I intercollegiate coaching with 17 years as a public elementary, middle and high school teacher.  Currently, Caren resides in Ohio where she teaches high school science and runs a private Kinesiology and Coaching practice working with individuals, athletic teams, groups and families.



Renate Wennekes
is an International Edu-K Faculty member as well as the founder of Developmental Kinesiology and Joy Kinesiology. She belongs to the first Kinesiologists in Germany and Europe and she serves on the Advisory council of the German Kinesiology Organization. She is Director/Founder at her Institute in Northern Germany. Her emphasis is self-help and leading the people back to their innate potential and self-regulation. Joy of movement and play is her life.
