 50 Years of Volvo Estates Meet Claes RydholmClaes will be attending the 2012 National Meet from Goteborg, Sweden to participate in a Q&A session and serve as a judge for the Champions Classes. He is the Senior Manager, Volvo Cars Heritage, responsible for cultivating and communicating the history and heritage of Volvo cars. He drives a V60 1.6 diesel DRIVe with a six-speed gearbox. Claes doesn't personally own a vintage Volvo but is a 'foster-father' of a 1957 Duett and a 1971 164E.  5-Time Volvo Historic Series Champion CarThis 1962 Volvo P1800, owned by Jim Perry and built by Duane Matejka, will be on display at the VCOA 2012 National Car Show in St. Louis on June 2 at the Muny Upper Parking Lot. Meet Lars-Erik LundinLars-Erik Lundin will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2012 VCOA banquet on
June 2. Lundin followed Volvo’s new car (850) project (Volvo’s largest endeavor
at the time) from 1983 to launch. His duties continued on with AWD, diesel,
coupe and convertible, racing, etc, as head of Business Development H for the
area responsible for the 800 car line 1993-95. He also introduced the 850 to
the US dealers in Phoenix and Scottsdale
in June 1992. Lundin was most recently
