The Gates Cambridge Scholarship

In October 2000, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced a donation to the University of Cambridge to establish the Gates Cambridge Scholarship.  Selection of Gates Scholars is driven by the values of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which include a commitment to reducing inequities and improving lives around the world.

The Gates Community aims to build a global and diverse network of socially conscious individuals  by promoting cooperation, collaboration and opportunity in accordance with the goals of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the University of Cambridge.
