Photostory 3 is also a Microsoft program available for free download. It operates somewhat similarly to Movie Maker though it specifically uses images to create a video.
Creating a video in Photostory 3 is guided by a wizard prompting you to import images, create a storyboard for them where effects and text can be added, and then add narration and music. Photostory also features some panning effects, making videos of even still images appear to have more motion and the feel of popular documentaries. The wizard makes creating a Photostory project a faster process than Movie Maker while retaining some of the same features. Using photostory does prevent integrating video clips altogether and text slides without some tweaking. |
