xScope is a web browser built upon the WebKit (same engine behind Google Chrome and Apple Safari) with multitouch (pinch zoom) support for US version Motorola Droid only. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiZb1jXzOyM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKpC90dvO3k FeaturesPlease Note: xScope browser always zooms from your interested spot, which is the middle of your two fingers in multi-touch 'pinch zoom' or the tap location in 'pin zoom' or 'double tap zoom'. Some websites, like this one, try to 'smartly' re-layout themselves to fit screen. This is a normal behavior. New Tab Pinch Zoom Pin Zoom With one finger, tap on screen first and followed quickly by touching the screen again but not releasing it. Then sweep right to zoom in or left to zoom out. Pin Zoom is an original idea from our team and first seen here. Try it and you will LOVE it. Double Tap Zoom Suggested Settings1. Hide tab if only one left, check 2. Full screen, check 3. Always on (if you are bothered by constant auto-screen off, check this one) 4. New page scale, 1.5 5. Layout, selected Fit screen if possible. It will re-arrange text to fit your screen 6. Prefer web content: Android by default. But you can try iPhone. 7. As default, don't check. I don't recommend using xScope as default browser at current stage (1/10/2010) Please send your features request. Other ThoughtsLite version shows 5 links and histories. Full version ($2.99) allows more. Also user can launch apps for files and kill unwanted tasks. Please send your features request. Thank you for looking and supporting. |
