Garner Beckett grew up in small town southern Ontario.  Son of a painter from Montreal, Quebec and a sculptor from Simcoe, Ontario, he was introduced to art at a very young age. 

With a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Waterloo and a compulsion for creative productivity, Garner paints, writes, sculpts, illustrates, and animates.  He works out of a small studio in Brantford, Ontario, and has exhibited in both public and private art galleries in the Greater Toronto Area as well as the United States.
