Every layout should have a trestle. There is just something about the wooden structures of a trestle that makes for great visual eye candy. When I decided to build my first trestle I searched the Internet and found some very good resources on MyLargeScale.com. Stan Cedarleaf has posted a number of very helpful pictures and building information along with others on the forums on that site. Still, there are no instruction manuals on how to do this so please keep in mind that my way, and the “right” way may not have even a nodding acquaintance with one another.
