While not very handy, I'm willing to search the Web and talk to people that know how to build the things I want to build. To that end I have learned how to cheaply make scenery for my backyard railroad out of chicken wire and concrete.
In the pictures to the right you can see that I started with a simple rebar frame, added chicken wire, dunked burlap in a type of cement mix made from "plastic cement" (less than $10 for 90 lbs), and after adding more cement and sculping a bit had a cement cliff that I then painted and added to my layout.

This technique is as simple as I am and everyone can master it who is willing to try.
