These cassettes, the "Garage Band Tapes", were made as a way for the drummer to hear whether he was hitting the tempo and drum fills correctly. They were created on a cassette tape recording device that looks like the one below.  Recently these tapes were re-discovered, digitized, compressed into MP3 format and made available to the general public. Enjoy! |
