Ski Trails: Galena ski trails are part of a larger system known as the North Valley Trails. The trails at Galena & the North Valley are so vast and diverse that Snow Country magazine described them as arguably the best in the United States. The North Valley Trails are user pay ski trails. Only your pass fees and donations pay for grooming, signage, maintenance, equipment, support staff, passes, maps and all the other needs of winter trails. One pass allows you access to the entire North Valley Trail system- what a deal!

Snowshoe Trails: The Snowshoe Trails at Galena have a little something for everyone. Our trails on the west side of the highway are all dog friendly. Wear out your four legged friend on one of our more strenuous trails or take your old faithful pal for an easy walk on the Cowboy Cabin Trail along the Bigwood. On the east side you can explore scenic vistas and wide open meadows on the Pioneer Cemetery Loop or get your blood pumping on Tilt a Whirl. Up for a little adventure?
