I offer fine art nature painting and photography of beach and mountain themes in traditional and abstract genres with occasional diversions into architectural imagery, most frequently executed with palette knife technique.

The US Gulf Coast has been my home and playground for many years. Most recent works are uploaded to the appropriate website as completed. These are very special images of our beautiful white sand beaches, the lush flora, and somewhat aggressive gulls that we enjoy watching.

My North Carolina mountain home is also a frequent theme in both painting and photography. Many prefer the warm Fall imagery, others prefer the cooler Spring colors, but I enjoy painting all seasons in a variety of colors.

Please contact me for a quote on any custom piece you may have in mind or if you want a print that may not show available. I have several websites, often offering different art works and formats. Customarily, I paint small plein air studies in acrylic on wrapped canvas, and larger studio pieces in oil with palette knife on wrapped canvas. To my eye, oils offer more depth and therefore more beauty. Acrylics are a quick fix for uplifting color--they're happy pieces and usually offered in affordable art venues.

Others describe my work as peaceful; I describe it as tranquility. Same thought. Enjoy browsing through each gallery.
