Welcome to the Grady Brown PTA Website!
Vision:
The GAB PTA is a group of parents and teachers working together on projects to improve the teaching and learning environment at Grady A. Brown.
Goals:
The GAB PTA strives to improve the learning environment, educational opportunities, and academic achievement of children at GAB, in accordance with the goals of the school administration and teachers.
Specifically, we organize events, programs, and communications that:
- support the teachers and staff at GAB in their important work,
- provide access to educational and cultural arts opportunities,
- foster a sense of community centered around the school,
- improve the health and fitness of our students,
- develop GAB’s learning and recreation facilities, and
- share information about issues affecting Orange County Schools with our members.
The PTA is open to all GAB parents and teachers, and is headed by a PTA board which meets monthly. PTA projects are undertaken by various subcommittees.
