Local Initiative Related to a Global Effort
The GAAT Initiative is led by G3ict with support from numerous Georgia-based
participants, including private sector companies, government agencies, universities, small businesses and individuals who are committed to the inclusive ICT research, design and development. Participants share a common interest in establishing Georgia as a hub for ICT accessibility innovation by:
-
Documenting existing Georgia-based organizations, companies and research projects dealing with ICT accessibility
- Identifying new sources of ICT accessibility innovation
- Defining ideas for collaborations
among public and private sector organizations
- Supporting industries and economic development efforts that stand to benefit from ICT accessibility innovation
