Did you know?
Statistics show
children earn higher grades, receive better test scores, and enroll in
higher-level programs when their parents are involved in their
education, according to the National Coalition for Parent Involvement in Education. Get Involved! Here are some simple ways:
1. Ask your
child about school. Just saying "Tell me something you learned today"
shows that you're interested in his school day.
2. Read to your child or let them read to you.
3. Help with their homework or just check the answers.
4. Join your school's parent group. Attend a meeting to find out what's happening in school and how you can get involved.
For more ways to make a difference, visit www.schoolfamily.com.
