Spartans Future

posted Sep 7, 2010 8:54 PM by Shane Lympany

Based on interest and availability, it does not look like there will be enough boys to form a Spartans team for the 2011 season. You should have received an email from Coach Steve letting you know about the situation and providing contact information for several other boys volleyball clubs in the area. Email Coach Steve if you have any questions.

Spartans Defeat CYBVC2

posted Mar 16, 2010 5:23 PM by Shane Lympany

The FVAA Spartans beat CYBVC2 by a score of 3-0 (25-25, 25-19, 25-18).

The FVAA Spartans gained their first match victory, 3-0, behind a balanced, all-around team effort against CYBVC-2. Solid passing by Will Asciutto and Brendan Smith, heavy hitting from Shane and Aaron Lympany, strong blocking from Tyler Malpass, relentless defense from DaQuan Mabry, and on-target setting by young Gannon Nawojczyk carried the Spartans to victory. The CYBVC-2 boys were lead by strong serving and setting from Aidan Carroll, crushing hits from Joseph Lucido, and some crafty serving by Amit Katyayan. Our thanks to Abby Moody and Ariana Lucido for R1 and R2 reffing, and to all those who served as line judges and scorekeepers.
