Welcome to the website of the FVAA Spartans boys
volleyball team!
The FVAA Spartans is a boys volleyball team in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The Spartans volleyball team was established in 2007 and fielded one 14 and under team for the 2008 season. In 2009, the Spartans fielded a boys 15 to 18 team and was a founding member of the Tri Boys Volleyball League, the first ever boys volleyball league in North Carolina.
This year, the Spartans will once again field a boys 15 to 18 team that will participate in the Tri Boys Volleyball League along with Cary YMCA and CHAVC. Any boy who will be between the ages of 15 and 18 as of September 1, 2010 is eligible to join the FVAA Spartans.
The goal of the Spartans is to create a positive, supportive, and
competitive environment to promote interest in the sport of volleyball, provide training in the skills and knowledge of volleyball, and foster the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.

Who is eligible to play for the FVAA Spartans? Any male who will be between the ages of 15 and 18 as of September 1, 2010 is eligible to join the FVAA Spartans. No prior volleyball experience is required. When and where do the Spartans practice? The Spartans will practice on Sunday afternoons from 3 PM until 5 PM at Council Gym starting on December 6, 2009. The Spartans will have an additional weekly practice on Tuesday afternoons from 3 PM until 4:30 PM at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center starting on December 8, 2009. Who do the Spartans play against? The Spartans play in the Tri Boys Volleyball League against teams from the Cary YMCA (map) and the Chapel Hill Area Volleyball Club.
