After a week of the DJI being down, we look close to testing the 8,110 point mark. At the time of this writing we are at 8162 with two days to go before the end of the week. Some folks feel like they're braving a storm and I, being more pessimistic say there is lots more downside possible. So what to do? Why not turn off the TV, just look at the sports and entertainment sections of the news, watch a movie, or go skiing on the new Wii Fit game with your family. We may be going through a storm, but then again, we are in a recession right?? I mean, it is "official" after how long of the obvious? But after nearly every storm there is sunshine, and if there is sunshine, the bulls will run again! As I'm also an optimist, rather than be down about the current bear trend, you must start thinking of where to position yourself for the inevitable bull run. Don't be caught off guard or you could get trampled in the rush out of the gate when Obama is sworn into office.
January 20th marks a day that many thought would never happen. It will be met with some disdain by a few but many have been waiting for a least a little change (pun intended) for the past eight years now. Enough is enough already. The sun is about to break through the clouds. Not that there aren't more cloudy days in the years ahead, but this huge event brings with it, a lot more smiling faces than we've seen in a very long time. Hope, jobs, innovation, a fair chance, positive changes, all a reason to smile! Oh! And from January 20 forward, when the sun shines, people will think green, cause that is one of the changes we'll be making to help this country and the planet at large. |
