Every year, Fusion Youth Theatre travel to Epping Forrest where they take part in the Big Youth Theatre Festival, organised by National Assoication of Youth Theatre's.
This amazing festival takes place in July towards the end of term.
4 days of camping, performances, workshops, parties, activities....its usually the highlight of the year!
You can meet new people, with over 1,000 young people attending from youth theatres all over the country (including some international groups), perform your work in some brilliant venues around the park, attend workshops with professional artists and theatres such as National Youth Theatre, Bristol Old Vid, Frantic Assembly etc and even go swimming!
The festival boasts real flushing toilets and plenty of showers
(and you can usually find somewhere to plug your straightners in!)
 BYTF is an outdoor festival designed for groups and individuals involved in youth theatre. The programme includes opportunities to perform, take part in a wide range of workshops, see others perform and meet, socialise and celebrate their involvement in youth theatre with other youth theatre members the world over.
 |  Young people, aged 14+, can sign up for BYTF 2009 from December 08 onwards.
FYT are planning on taking their Zombie Musical, 'Chomp', to the festival next year and depending ont he size of the cast, this may mean places are very limited!
