Thank you!

Furry Friends is always grateful to those caring people who do what they can to support us.

Selling daffodils

Rebekah has once again been out fundraising for us. She sold daffodils and raised £5 to help our needy animals. Thank you!

Doughnut sale

The students at Nescot college very kindly sold Krispie Kreme doughnuts and home made cakes at their college. They managed to raise £50 for the rescue which we were very grateful for.

Bike rides!

Joanne Blunt and Amanda Phillipson have been very generous in the past by donating us lots of rabbit food and toys for our rescues. They are currently planning to do a bike ride to raise money for us. We wanted to share their progress here and take this opportunity to say thank you for caring about the animals.

Marathon

Penny is a very lucky girl. She came into rescue after she was found in a garden after being caught in a snare. Her back leg was just hanging off by a thread and so it was decided that the entire leg needed to be removed, but what was worst was that she was in labour.
She gave birth to five puppies in someone's back garden, but sadly four had died by the time she was rescued and then immediately that she was found, she had to go under general anaesthetic to have her leg removed which was full of gangrene.
As she woke up she started looking for her puppies...she hadn't forgotten but there was only one that could be returned to her and once reunited with her baby quite happily settled down and started the healing process as well as bringing up a puppy.

Penny and her son, Tuppence have now found homes. Penny's new owner, Ellen did a marathon for Furry Friends and raised £325 for our animals.

Penny even got an award at the Wetnose Awards and met Martin Clunes.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who has supported us in what we do, told people about the rescue and adopted from us. Without your support we couldn't save all the lives that come through our doors. From us and the animals we are grateful - you have helped make a difference.
