Dogs Rehomed

Just some of the dogs we have rehomed.

Bobby

Bobby came to us from Ireland. He had been bred (his mother and father were brother and sister) and given away to an unsuitable owner who returned him when she realised that he was blind.
The breeder knew that nobody would want him so handed him over to a rescue.
They in turn knew that he would probably not be homed in Ireland and so asked if he could come to the UK as there was more of a chance of him finding a home.
Now a very much loved dog.

Ross

Ross is a 10 year old blind boarder collie. He was found as a stray in Ireland and we took him here. Now a loved member of the family. We see Ross back here from time to time when his owners board him with us whilst they are on holiday.

Manson

Manson was an unwanted pet with a heart problem which means he is on medication for life.
He has now found the loving home he deserves.

Bonnie

Bonnie was handed into us by her owners after they had bred her and sold the puppies and they decided they no longer wanted her. When she arrived she was still dripping with milk as the pups had been taken away the same day they got rid of her. Now enjoying life in her new home.

Blossom
Before arriving to rescue...

Blossom the first time we saw her. She had obviously came from a very bad home and is an abuse case and was found in a collapsed state dumped in a hedge in London having been poisoned. She was due to be put down and took her in.

Blossom after proper care and treatment

This is Blossom today. Happy in a new home.

Francis
This is Francis in the pound in Ireland. When we saw this photo we just had to help

Francis spent the first ten years of his life in a shed in a crate in Ireland. The only daylight he got was when the door was opened to feed the copious crated dogs on the property. Sadly he has a degenerative spine disease so his days are numbered and he was not doing very well in kennels. Because he was so distressed they thought that euthanasia was the kindest option. After all, nobody wants a terminal dog...
We don't agree with this though and feel that there is someone out there who will love this boy for the final part of his life.
We were right and here he is today

Francis today

Desmond

This is Desmond (was called Scooby). He came in as an unwanted pup and is in training to be a PAT dog. He goes to training class every Wednesday and his trainer says is what a fantastic boy he is- so calm and loving. He currently goes to works with autistic children in a special needs school he is truly a very special boy, not just to his new family, but to so many people and children.

Pixie

This is Pixie (was called IP). She came into rescue at 9 weeks old as her previous owner had been spoiling her and she had picked up bad habits. Now a much loved member of the family.

Mike

Mike (left) had six homes before coming to us. Here he is in his new home where he is very much loved.

Lexi

Lexi's mum (Tinkerbell) was heavily pregnant and on death row. We heard about her and she came to us where she gave birth to 7 beautiful puppies. Here is Lexi (Lady Wiggleton) when she was 12 weeks old.

This is Lexi in her new home. Her new family love her very much and are (quite rightly) very proud of her.
